Discover The Animals That Make Us Special

Australian Heritage Angora Goats

Our Australian Heritage Angora Goats are a rare and historically significant fibre breed, preserving genetics that shaped Australia’s early mohair industry. Unlike commercial Angoras bred for uniformity, our herd prioritises genetic diversity, hardiness, and longevity. These goats produce beautiful, individual fleeces — from lustrous curls to soft flowing locks — each reflecting the uniqueness of the animal itself. Raised in low-stress environments with lifelong care, our Angoras contribute not only exceptional mohair but also the preservation of an important agricultural heritage.

Romney Marsh Heritage Sheep

Our Romney Marsh Sheep are valued for their calm temperament, adaptability, and versatile wool. This traditional dual-purpose breed thrives in natural farming systems and produces strong, character-rich fleece ideal for hand spinning, knitting, and artisan fibre work. Rather than breeding for industrial consistency, we celebrate variation — creating fleeces full of personality, texture, and story. Our Romneys live full lives on pasture, contributing to soil health, regenerative grazing practices, and a balanced farm ecosystem. Monarch Butterflies

Beyond fibre and livestock, We also breed silkworms and butterflies and grow caterpillar food plants to sustain our very hungry caterpillars!

Quails

Our quails bring life, movement, and sustainability to the farm landscape.

Raised in spacious, enriched environments, they provide nutrient-rich eggs while contributing naturally to pest and weed control and soil enrichment. Gentle and efficient, quails are perfectly suited to small-scale ethical farming systems where animal welfare and environmental harmony come first.

Chickens

Chickens are an excellent source of nutrition, natural grazers, help keep bug populations in check and also fertilise our orchard. Our chickens are healthy, glossy and very well cared for. While many farms do not think chickens need supplementary feeding, we certainly do. Our ladies eat twice a day not including the bountiful bugs and grasses they find along their adventures. Our chickens are the definition of free-range often coming to the farmhouse to say a lovely hello.

The Farm Dogs

Our farm dogs are much more than dogs... they are farm hands and beloved companions. Once they have bought the sheep or goats in to the yards they are free to nap all day but their presence and ‘one eye open’ napping wards off predators  keeping our livestock safe and secure. On hot days they get a swim in the dam, . Im sure if they could talk, they would tell us they are as happy as pigs in mud!

The Native Flora And Fauna

Our farm is a full ecosystem with some of Australia's most iconic wildlife. We get to live at one with Eastern Grey Kangaroos, echidnas and wedgetail Eagles. Of course with beautiful wildlife also comes creepy crawlies but many of these are proving ecosystem services – or treats for the chickens.  In good times, we can rely on our ladybugs, hover flies and preying mantis to keep crop pests in hand.
